Important Instruction

  • Uttarakhand Competitive Examinations (Measures for Prevention and Redressal of Unfair Means in Recruitment) Act-2023 promulgated by Notification No. 168/XXXVI(3)/2023/10(01)/2023, dated April 27, 2023, issued by the Government of Uttarakhand. Has been done For any misconduct, action will be taken against the candidate as per the provisions of Uttarakhand Competitive Examinations (Measures for Prevention and Redressal of Unfair Means in Examination) Act-2023 as amended from time to time.
  • Candidates must indicate the category/sub-category related to double and horizontal reservation in the online application form. In case of reservation not being claimed, Writ Petition (Special Appeal) No.: 79/2010 in Radha Mittal vs. Uttarakhand Public Service Commission, order dated 08.06.2010 passed by the Honorable High Court, Uttarakhand, Nainital and Special Leave Petition (Civil) No. (S) In view of the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court in 19532/2010, the benefit of reservation will never be allowed to the candidate. It is necessary for the candidate to possess the reservation related certificate till the last date of filling the application form
  • Candidates should ensure that they possess all the mandatory educational qualifications and other qualifications mentioned in the advertisement by the last date of filling the online application form, i.e. 3rd April, 2024. As per the Inspection Guide 2022, the date of obtaining the mandatory educational qualification will be determined only from the date of issue of marksheet. Therefore, candidates should ensure that That in the details of educational qualification (Qualification Details) of the online application form, in the column of Result Declaration Date, the date of issue of mark sheet (Marksheet Issuing Date) of the relevant educational qualification should be mentioned. yes. If the desired qualifications are not confirmed as per the advertisement, the candidate will be placed in the category of ineligible candidates.

  • Before applying online, candidates should study all the instructions mentioned in the advertisement thoroughly and fill the online application form correctly. Incomplete application forms will not be accepted under any circumstances and the candidate’s candidature will automatically be considered cancelled. Candidates should not wait for the last date to apply online, rather make sure to submit their online application before that
  • Candidates who submit applications on the basis of fake certificates (related to educational qualification/age/reservation etc.) will be debarred from all the upcoming examinations of the Commission for a maximum of 05 years. Besides, a case can also be filed against such candidates under the relevant law. Writing/writing anything separately on the admit card by the candidate will also fall under the category of unfair means.
  • For the examination in question, application fee will be accepted only through online application form and Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI. Application/examination fee made in any other way will not be accepted. If any candidate does not deposit the prescribed fee by the last date of submission of fee or deposits less than the prescribed fee, his application form/candidature will automatically be considered cancelled.
  • In case of any mistake in the application form before the last date/time of acceptance of online application form, the candidate can cancel his/her application and apply again for the post in question. But in this case the fee deposited will not be refunded i.e. the candidate will have to deposit the application fee again against the revised/new online application form.
  • After completion of the application process till the last date of online application, the link will be opened only once again for making amendments/changes in the entries made by the candidates in the online application. Candidates should fill all the entries in the application form very carefully, after the last date only one opportunity will be given to make amendments in the name/date of birth/category/subcategory/gender etc. of the candidates in the entries of online application. Amendments/changes (Edit/Correction) will be made by the candidates in the online application form as per the provisions mentioned in point no. 16 (Amendment/Change Process) of the advertisement. Candidates are cautioned that after providing the opportunity for the said amendment/change, under no circumstances will the Commission consider any request made by the candidate to amend/change any entry/claim mentioned in his/her online application form.

  • 1- There is no need to submit the printout copy of the online application form or any certificate to the Commission office at the initial stage of application. Candidates should keep the printout of the application form safe with them for future correspondence with the Commission and other necessary uses/evidence.

    II. According to the examination scheme/syllabus prescribed for the post in question, preliminary examination (objective type), main examination (conventional type) will be conducted. Thereafter, an interview will be organized for the candidates declared provisionally successful in the main/written examination. III. When asked by the Commission, candidates will be required to verify the claims made in the online application form.

    It will be mandatory to submit the self-signed photocopy of the printout of the application form along with all the certificates related to essential educational qualification, preferential qualification, reservation etc. to the Commission office on the prescribed date, otherwise the candidature will be considered cancelled.

    iv. As per the conditions mentioned in the advertisement, if any discrepancy or deficiency is found in the candidate’s claims and certificates in the online application form, then the candidate will be declared ineligible for the post in question.

    v. Before the interview of the candidates declared provisionally successful in the main/written examination, the records related to the claims made in their online application form, such as educational, reservation etc., will be verified by Uttarakhand Public Service.

    The verification will be done by the Commission as per the provisions mentioned in Part-9 of the Commission Examination Result Preparation Process Regulations-2022 (as amended). If the required documents are not provided on the due date to verify the claims made in the online application form, the candidate will be declared ineligible for the examination in question. Regarding the above, candidates will be informed separately through daily newspapers and website of the Commission.

    vi. Important information will be sent to the candidates through e-mail or SMS. Therefore, candidates should fill only their own mobile number and e-mail ID in the application form.
